Eligibility Requirements
• Grades kindergarten through eighth are eligible.
• All entries must be original and drawn free hand.
Traced, stenciled or laminated entries will be
disqualified or returned.
• Posters are on white poster paper.
• Posters must be 11”x17” or 12”x18”.
• No identification of any sort, designating city, fire
department etc. will be allowed on the front of the
pictures.
• Place a TYPEWRITTEN sticker on the back of
each poster with the following information:
Student name, grade level, address, and telephone #
School name, address, and telephone #.
Sponsoring Fire Dept. name, address, and telephone #

Only one poster per each grade level from a school or fire department will be accepted. Multiple 
entries per grade will disqualify all entries, even if a school has more than one class at a 
specific grade level.
The posters will be displayed and judged by the membership at the WSFA convention March 6-8, 2025 
at the Madison Marriott in Middleton, WI.
Winners will be selected based on originality and their understanding of fire prevention strategies 
with votes being cast by attendees of the convention.
